Henriette Cordes has more than 18 years experience in immunology
and vaccine development mainly focusing on characterization of
humoral- and cellular immune responses in animal models for
inflammatory and infectious diseases. She has also worked with
mucosal inflammatory and humoral immune responses. She has lots of
experience with development of cellular- and immunological assays
including development of reagents (monoclonal antibodies) for
research and diagnostic and been support for the diagnostic
department for several years.
At the moment the main research is on development of a vaccine
for treatment of intestinal infection in pigs (Lawsonia
intracellularis), a diagnostic test for the serological
detection of Brucella suis in pigs as well as a multiplex
based assay for simultaneous detection of several bacterial
diseases.
Besides the research she has also several years of experience
with science based consultancy of the public authorities being part
of the National Reference Laboratory for TSE and has been involved
in implementing quality assurance and accreditation of ring trial
activities.
Henriette Cordes is Research Scientist in the
Immunology/Vaccinology group at DTU, Veterinary Institute
(DTU-Vet). She is Master of Science in Humanbiology from University
of Copenhagen (KU) from 1992 and Ph.D. in Immunology from KU in
1997, and has been employed at DTU-Vet since 2002. Before she came
to DTU-Vet she worked 8 years as Research Scientist in the Biotech
Industry. |
